Everything here is a digital file you download and keep. That shapes how refunds work, so here it is plainly.
Try the free guide first
The Girly Guide to Python is free, and it’s the same voice and the same approach as everything I sell. Reading it costs you nothing and is the honest way to find out whether this works for you before spending anything.
If something is wrong, I’ll fix it
Email me and I’ll sort it out or refund you if:
- a file won’t open or appears to be damaged
- your download link failed or never arrived
- you received the wrong product
- you were charged more than once for the same order
Write to hello@comfysyntax.co.za with the email address you ordered with and which product it was. I reply within 2 working days.
Change of mind
Because these are files you download and keep, I don’t refund for change of mind once a product has been delivered. I’d still like to hear what didn’t land — it makes the next edition better.
Your rights under South African law
Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law applies.
