Terms of Use
The terms you agree to when you buy something here or use this site.
Who you’re buying from
Comfy Syntax is privately owned and operated in Centurion, South Africa. Contact: hello@comfysyntax.co.za.
What you’re buying
Every product on this site is a digital file. Nothing is posted to you. After payment clears, your download arrives by email — usually within minutes. If it hasn’t arrived within an hour, check your spam folder and then email me.
Prices for South African orders are in rands. International orders are priced in US dollars and handled by a checkout partner. You’ll see the exact amount before you pay.
What you may do with it
When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. You may:
- read it, print it, and keep it on your own devices
- use the code examples in your own projects, including paid work
What you may not do
- share, resell, or give away the files
- upload them anywhere others can download them
- republish the writing as your own, or use it to teach a paid course
- remove any notice identifying Comfy Syntax as the source
I keep the copyright in everything I write and publish here.
Updates
When a product is updated, buyers get the new version at no extra cost. I may correct, expand, or reorganise a product at any time.
What these resources can and can’t do
These are learning resources. I’ve tested the code and checked the explanations, but I can’t promise a particular outcome — a job, a qualification, or a passing grade — because that depends on your work, not mine. Use the code at your own discretion.
Refunds
Set out separately in the Refund Policy.
Changes and governing law
I may update these terms. The version published here at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it. These terms are governed by South African law, and nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
